Morton Pacitti Solicitors: Falkirk’s Specialists in Conveyancing, Wills & Executries

Morton Pacitti LLP has built a strong reputation for providing practical, down-to-earth legal advice with a personal touch.

Known for their approachability and depth of experience, the firm specialises in conveyancing, wills, powers of attorney and executries – supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most significant moments.

A Firm with Local Roots

Morton Pacitti was founded in early 2010 by Raymond Morton and Linda Pacitti, both of whom had been partners in another well-regarded local practice. Deciding to strike out on their own, they brought with them decades of experience and a shared vision for a client-focused firm rooted in trust and professionalism.

Choosing Law – A Spur of the Moment Decision

For Linda, the decision to pursue a career in law came unexpectedly. “When I was about 13, my English teacher asked our class what we wanted to do when we left school. No one said they wanted to be a lawyer – so I said I would. And it stuck.”

A Broad Legal Offering

The firm focuses on helping clients buy and sell property, prepare wills and powers of attorney, and wind up estates with care and precision. “These are services that touch people’s lives in a real way,” Linda explains. “We aim to guide them through with clarity and empathy.”

A Close-Knit Team

The team at Morton Pacitti is a major part of its continued success. “Lynn, our cashier; Elaine, our receptionist and typist; and Suzanne, a paralegal, all worked with me at our previous firm,” says Linda. “We’ve worked together for more than 20 years – and in some cases over 30. Yvonne joined us in October last year and has fitted in brilliantly. It’s very much a team effort and we all do a bit of everything.”

Keeping Things Personal

Clients frequently comment on the firm’s warm and approachable manner. “Because we’ve all worked together so long, we know how to support one another – and that naturally extends to our clients,” Linda says. “It’s a comforting environment, especially when people are going through challenging situations.”

Guidance Through Difficult Times

While Morton Pacitti doesn’t deal with divorce or criminal work, they are known for their thoughtful, compassionate approach to sensitive areas like executries. “When someone is dealing with the loss of a loved one, they need more than just legal expertise – they need someone who understands. We do our best to be that support.”

Giving Back to Falkirk

Linda’s commitment to the community goes beyond her professional life. “I’ve been a member of the Rotary Club of Falkirk since we opened in 2010,” she shares. “It’s a fantastic way to give back – supporting local charities and community initiatives that really make a difference.”

Looking Ahead

What’s next for Morton Pacitti? “Who knows what’s in store,” Linda says with a smile. “We’ll keep doing what we do best – serving our clients with care, professionalism, and a personal touch. Hopefully, we’ll continue to go from strength to strength.”
